Built on principles, not promises
Donna is persistent and matter-grounded. She works across the matter lifecycle, inside your firm’s permission model, in the matter rather than a disconnected chat window. Every action is intended to be logged, and every output reviewable.
Human authority
External communications stay inside an explicit lawyer review and approval model before they leave Donna’s drafting surface.
Scope discipline
Donna is designed to retrieve only what the requesting lawyer is permissioned to read in the matter. No cross-matter bleed, and no training on customer matter content. The boundary follows your firm’s Microsoft identity and permission model.
Provenance
Prompts, retrieval sources, outputs, reviewers and timestamps are intended to be recorded in a matter-scoped audit trail that can support governance and compliance review.
What Donna does, and refuses to do
Donna does
Draft from matter sources, summarise matter emails and documents, triage incoming enquiries, support research workflows, propose next steps and time entries, surface exceptions, cite sources where source grounding is available, and keep a review trail.
Donna does not
Auto-send external correspondence, read or write outside the lawyer’s permissions, provide legal advice as if she were a lawyer, or train future models on your content.
Ask Donna365 a question, review her reasoning, verify the source, and decide what to do next. Donna365 supports legal judgment. It does not replace it.
