Events & Webinars

Briefings, workflow teardowns and AI governance roundtables for principals and practice managers building a more controlled, Microsoft-native legal operating model.

Overview

Authority before automation

The firms that get the most from Donna365 events are not shopping for software. They are trying to understand their own operating model first: where work gets stuck, how AI should be governed, and how Microsoft 365 can become a disciplined legal work surface rather than a collection of disconnected tools.

Our sessions are built around that. They are practical, specific to Australian small and mid-sized practice, and led by people who have sat alongside principals and watched the same operating patterns fail. We would rather send you away with a clearer view of your own firm than with a product pitch.

How it works

The kinds of sessions we run

Workflow teardowns.

A founder-led session that takes a single common workflow, family law intake, a conveyancing matter, a Wills and estates file, and walks through where it leaks time, momentum and revenue. We map the points where work falls back on personal memory, and show what a system-supported version looks like. These are concrete and built around real matter cadence, not abstract diagrams.

AI governance roundtables.

A facilitated discussion for firms working out how to use AI without creating a confidentiality or accuracy problem. We cover the difference between matter-grounded AI and bolt-on chatbots, what lawyer-in-the-loop review should actually mean, and how to build an audit trail that holds up. These work best in small groups where principals can speak candidly about what their staff are already doing.

Operations briefings.

Shorter sessions on a single topic: intake consistency, matter visibility, billing readiness, or the operating risk of an inbox-led firm. Designed to give a principal or practice manager language and a framework they can take straight back into the practice.

Microsoft 365 for firms.

Practical walkthroughs of how Outlook, Word, Teams and SharePoint can carry the operating layer of a firm, using the security and governance the firm already pays for, rather than adding another system to learn.

In practice

Who should attend

These sessions are built for the people who carry the operating load of a firm. Principals who are still the firm’s only reliable control system. Practice managers responsible for making the work move. Legal operations leads in firms large enough to have the role. Where a topic is technical, we say so, but most sessions are designed for decision-makers rather than administrators.

What you get

What attendees take away

You should leave with something usable, not a brochure. A clearer view of where your own workflow is failing. Language to describe the problem to partners and staff. A framework you can apply without buying anything. And, where AI is the topic, a defensible position on what governed use looks like for a firm of your size and risk profile.

We do not run sessions as disguised sales demos. If a firm decides it wants to see the product, that is a separate conversation we are glad to have, on request.

Why it matters

How to register and stay informed

We run sessions on a rolling basis and keep groups small so they stay useful. To hear about upcoming workflow teardowns, roundtables and briefings, or to request a session for your firm or referral network, contact the team and tell us which topics matter most to you. We will let you know what is scheduled and reserve a place.

If you would rather start with our written thinking, the Insights section covers the same operating themes in more depth.

  • See the product flow, not a generic slide deck.
  • Talk through your firm size, practice area and current bottleneck.
  • Discuss design-partner fit, rollout path and next steps.
